Five Things You Need in Your Fall Makeup Bag

Every season, runway models flaunt the best of makeup artistry with bold and daring techniques, but like with the clothes, we do enjoy it when we spot a look that’s easy to recreate. From feathery brows to graphic liners, this year’s Fall/Winter Fashion Week impressed with the number of trends that could effortlessly be incorporated into our daily beauty regimen. To help you achieve the hottest makeup looks of the season, we’ve decided to compile a list of essentials for your makeup bag.

1. Bold Red Lipstick
When we witnessed the growing popularity of nude tints and clear balms, it seemed that the era of the crimson pout was finally over, until it popped back up again in shows like Dolce & Gabbana and Marchesa that went for a moodier shade, says Harper’s Bazaar, while the models of 3.1 Phillip Lim showcased a brick-red tint. The comeback of the bold red lipstick tells us that it is the one product in your bag that will never go out of style.

2. Plum or Burgundy Lipstick
Some days, the red lip can seem a little too bright for a fall look. Adding a darker shade to your pout is the optimal way to fit in with this season’s demands, so take after Emanuel Ungaro, Giles and Marc Jacobs and experiment with deep wine colors. Lyst also recommends a deep Bordeaux tone with items from Mulberry to add a layer of sophistication and class to an otherwise drab color palette.

3. Pink Blush
Women may still envy the flawless contouring of the Kardashians, but for now it’s time to ditch the bronzers and replace them with pink blushes. With chillier temperatures and winter just around the corner, a simple way to add some color to your face is by having a light pink flush, as displayed by models and celebrities alike on Cosmopolitan. The warmth and softness of the pink is a nice change from the sculpted angles created by contouring.

4. A Variety of Black Liners
Brown liners may look better on lighter colored eyes while white one create the illusion of bigger peepers, but this is definitely the season for black eyeliner. Whether it’s the double flick or the Edie Sedgwick, we’re all about drawing more attention to the windows to our soul. Check out Teen Vogue for more black eyeliner ideas.

 5. Bronze Shadows
The ‘70s inspired earth tones dominated the fall shows and even translated in the makeup styles through the bronze, natural toned shadows. Metallic accents are nothing new on the runway, but the warmth of the bronze adds a little something special and also blends in impeccably with the rest of this season’s fall makeup essentials, just as Elle describes.

    Da, sunt de acord!
Si eu apelez la aceleasi produse si am observat ca am cam renuntat la nuantele colorate ale fardurilor si mai nou ma axez doar pe nuante naturale si eyelinere.
Imi place mult blush-ul. E atat de feminin…<3

Cand se schimba anotimpul eu schimb doar culorile rujurilor si pe cele ale blush-urilor, in rest raman la aceleasi nuante naturale in ceea ce priveste fardurile 😀 Superbe rujurile! <3
