The Circle

 

Hello! Lately I’ve been MIA, I decided to take advantage of the last days of summer and spend more time outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

Speaking of my online presence, I recently saw a very interesting movie, The Circle, which speaks about the possible future of social networks. I really recommend this movie, it’s not just for bloggers /vloggers or people working in online, but for everyone. I heard about this movie when I was attending a blogging conference and an American vlogger recommended it and said, half joking, half seriously, that the movie describe exactly how she sees the future of her job.

The film presents the story of a company called The Circle which launch a mini-camera and the SeeChange service which places these cameras on the streets of big cities to ensure the safety of persons and from that point the movie evolves and treats the line between offline and online and how far you can get with your digital privacy. I can’t say that the film itself is a masterpiece, but the subject is very interesting.

Do you think it’s possible that in the future we will no longer have secrets and we will be online non-stop? Social networks will become something we can not live without? It’s an interesting topic, very broad and controversial, but the plot of the movie doesn’t seem science fiction, but rather a distant reality.

In ultima vreme am cam disparut de pe blog, dar am decis sa profit de ultimele zile de vara si sa petrec mai mult timp bucurandu-ma de vremea frumoasa cat inca o mai avem.
Apropo de offline, recent am vazut un film, The Circle, despre posibilul viitor al retelelor de socializare, un film care mi s-a parut extrem de interesant si care m-a pus pe ganduri.  Chiar va recomand sa va uitati la acest film, nu e doar pentru bloggeri/vloggeri sau oameni care activeaza in online, ci pentru toata lumea. Am aflat de filmul asta la o conferinta, a fost recomandat de o vloggerita din America care a spus, mai in gluma, mai in serios, ca ea asa vede viitorul „meseriei” ei.

Filmul prezinta initial compania The Circle care lanseaza o mini-camera de filmare si serviciul SeeChange ce plaseaza aceste camere pe strazile marilor orase pentru a asigura securitatea persoanelor, iar de la asta evolueaza si trateaza limita dintre offline si online si cat de departe se poate ajunge cu expunerea vietii private.  Rolul principal e jucat de Emma Watson, o actrita care a inceput sa imi placa din ce mai mult, mi se pare ca evolueaza de la rol la rol si e foarte naturala si talentata. Nu pot spune ca filmul in sine e o capodopera, insa are un subiect extrem de interesant, care te face sa iti pui intrebari.

Daca v-ati uitat la film sau daca o sa va uitati, astept sa imi lasati un comentariu si sa imi spuneti parerea voastra. Credeti ca e posibil ca in viitor sa nu mai avem secrete, sa fim conectati non-stop la retelele de socializare si sa devina ceva fara de care nu mai putem trai? E un subiect interesant de dezbatut, foarte amplu, dar si controversat, insa subiectul filmului nu mi se pare SF, ci mai degraba o realitate mai indepartata.
