We still can’t believe that we are only two days away from the most beautiful holiday of the year: Christmas! Although we finished decorating, we bought all the gifts and we listen to carols for weeks, we can’t feel the Christmas spirit yet. And we know why. We are not with our family, but we can’t wait to go home today! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Christmas is not Christmas without family, without the joy of being together and sharing memories with each other. Christmas has become far too commercial, but we are lucky to have a family who still have values and respect traditions and doesn’t believe that Christmas happiness come from a store.<\/p>\n

We saw a clip yesterday with a ecstatic boy, so happy that Santa visited him and brought him a bike. It’s so cute and sincere- that joy, that unconcealed enthusiasm and the happiness in his eyes, you really have to look at this video<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Wishing you peace, joy and may this incredible time of giving and spending time with family bring you happiness that lasts throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Inca nu ne vine sa credem ca mai sunt doar doua zile pana la cea mai frumoasa sarbatoare din an. Desi am terminat de decorat, de cumparat cadouri si ascultam de cateva saptamani bune colinde, parca inca nu am intrat in atmosfera specifica Nasterii Domnului. Si stim si de ce. Nu am ajuns inca acasa, insa abia asteptam sa plecam astazi \ud83d\ude42 Craciunul nu e Craciun fara familie, fara bucuria de a fi impreuna, de a ne aduna toti si de a impartasi amintiri unii cu ceilalti. Pe masura ce anii trec, Craciunul devine o sarbatoare din ce in ce mai comerciala, insa suntem norocoase sa avem o familie care mai respecta inca traditia si valorile si pentru care Craciun nu inseamna doar brad plin de lumini, cadouri si ghiftuiala.
\nLocul brazilor e in padure si ne irita extrem de rau fraze precum „Nu simt ca e Craciun fara miros de brad in casa”. Speram ca vanzarea brazilor sa devina ilegala in cativa ani si nu, nu suntem dure, chiar e nevoie de o lege aspra pentru a opri defrisarile acestea fara sens. Craciunul nu sta nici in bucatele traditionale, ci in comuniunea dintre comeseni, desi trebuie sa recunoastem ca de Craciun mancam fara sa vrem mai mult decat de obicei pentru ca parintii si rudele ne imbie cu tot felul de bunatati calorice (o sa fie o adevarata provocare pentru Dorina dat fiind ca acesta e primul Craciun de cand a devenit vegana si toti o sa o sfatuiasca sa renunte si sa serveasca cozonac, carnati, sarmale si piftii, iar pentru Cristina o sa fie o adevarata provocare sa se abtina si sa nu guste din toate dulciurile primite \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Am ajuns sa inlocuim sentimentele cu surogate, sa credem ca acest consumerism ne aduce bucurie. Insa uitati-va in jurul vostru. Cati se mai bucura cu adevarat de cadourile primite? Cu cat inaintam in varsta, cu atat uitam sa ne bucuram si sa fim recunoscatori pentru lucrurile pe care le primim, indiferent de valoarea lor. De cele mai multe ori, cele mai frumoase cadouri nu sunt cele mai scumpe, ci cele simbolice, dar nu prea mai apreciem nimic, poate doar de moment. Am vazut ieri un clip cu un baietel extaziat de faptul ca Mosul l-a vizitat si i-a adus o bicicleta. Ni s-a parut atat de frumos si emotionant- acea bucurie sincera, acel entuziasm nedisimulat si fericirea din ochii lui, chiar trebuie sa va uitati la acest clip<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Am dat exemple mai sus de ce nu inseamna Craciunul, insa nu v-am spus ce semnifica pentru noi. Credem ca totul pleaca de la semnificatia religioasa a sarbatorii: Micul Prunc care a venit sa schimbe lumea prin Iubire, o iubire atat de mare incat s-a jertfit pe Sine. Craciunul inseamna iubire, intelegere, armonie. Trebuie sa intelegem ca aceasta sarbatoare incepe in interior, in sufletul nostru si nu in exterior cu mancare, cadouri, reclame cu tiruri impodobite si beteala in toata casa. Trebuie sa fim mai intelegatori, mai buni si mai iertatori. Multi spun ca e o prostie, ca degeaba esti bun acum, daca nu esti tot anul si ca nu are niciun rost sa faci fapte bune in aceasta perioada daca in restul anului esti nepasator. Nu, nu e deloc o prostie, niciodata nu e prea tarziu sa devii o versiune mai buna a ta. Si cine spune ca e gresit ar trebui sa se intrebe: oare sa tai brazii din padure, sa tai porcii, sa bei si sa mananci pana nu mai poti si toate obiceiurile astea devenite traditie cum sunt? Ce nu gasesti in sufletul tau vei gasi in toate aceste obiceiuri?<\/p>\n

Va dorim un Craciun plin de bucurii adevarate, de emotii, sentimente frumoase si trairi unice!<\/p>\n
