When I was little I refused to wear the Romanian traditional blouse, called ie<\/strong>, because I thought the other children will make fun of me. My grandma always asked to me to wear the peasant blouse at the church when there were big holidays as Christmas or Easter, but I always refused her.<\/p>\n

Now I began to love the peasant blouses and as you could see on the blog<\/a>, I wear them as often as I can. I have two authentic traditional blouses, inheritance from my grandmother but they are very old and I wear them very rarely because they are „fragile” and I’m afraid to not damage them even more.<\/p>\n

The blouse<\/a> from today’s post is not an authentic peasant blouse, it’s just inspired by traditional Romanian blouse. I am very glad and proud that lately the Romanian blouses serve as inspiration for many mass-market fashion brands and designers which started promoting peasant blouses in their collections.
\nMany Romanians say that it is not good that our blouses are reproduced, but I feel very proud that women worldwide want to wear our traditional blouse. It would be nice if they could learn about our culture, history and traditions, not just about the negative things but I hope this will change in the future. I was extremely surprised and proud to see a few Asian girls in Rome<\/a> wearing peasant blouses \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The authentic peasant blouses are very expensive because they are handmade but there are plenty of shirts inspired by peasant blouses at affordable prices that we can integrate in our everyday outfits. Even if they don’t have a historical value, they look very good, are versatile and goes with almost anything.<\/p>\n

I love the blouse from these photos, it’s so simple and chic! I paired it with a red pleated skirt<\/a> and a nice rose crown which I borrowed for a few minutes from a blogger that took photos on the same street \ud83d\ude42 The funny thing is that many tourists believed that I wear a traditional Romanian costume and they also took a lot of photos with me \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Am doua ii autentice ramase mostenire de la bunica, insa sunt foarte vechi si ar trebui reconditionate, asa ca nu prea le port decat foarte, foarte rar pentru ca sunt „fragile” si imi e teama sa nu le deteriorez mai tare.<\/p>\n

Aud din ce in ce mai multe opinii acide in legatura cu purtatul iilor si chiar in ziua in care am purtat tinuta din poze am trecut pe langa un banner cu „purtatul excesiv de ie se pedepseste cu 30 zile de munca la o ferma traditionala” ce facea reclama unui site de fashion, parca. Eu, din contra, m-as bucura foarte tare sa vad cat mai multe femei purtand excesiv ii si reinterpretari moderne ale acestora decat sa vad decoltee pana la buric, haine mulate si tot felul de kitsch-uri.<\/p>\n

Bluza din poze nu e sub nicio forma o ie, insa e inspirata de bluza traditionala romaneasca. Ma bucur mult si sunt foarte mandra ca in ultima vreme costumul popular romanesc, si in special iile, sunt material de inspiratie pentru numeroase branduri de moda mass-market, dar si designeri, care au inceput sa promoveze peasant blouse <\/strong>in colectiile lor.<\/p>\n

Multi spun ca nu e bine ca iile au inceput sa fie reproduse, mie insa mi se pare un motiv de mandrie ca femeile din toata lumea vor sa poarte camasa noastra traditionala. Am fost extrem de mandra sa vad in vacanta recenta din Roma<\/a> asiatice purtand bluze de inspiratie romaneasca, chiar am ramas surprinsa foarte placut. Ar fi si mai frumos daca s-ar vorbi de cultura bogata a tarii noastre, de istorie si de traditii, nu doar de lucrurile negative si sper ca acest lucru sa se schimbe in viitor.<\/p>\n

Iile autentice din borangic sau in sunt foarte scumpe, insa exista o multime de variante de camasi inspirate de bluzele taranesti la preturi mult mai accesibile pe care le putem integra si in tinutele de zi cu zi. Chiar daca nu au o valoare istorica, arata foarte bine din punct de vedere estetic, fiind versatile si usor de asortat.<\/p>\n

Cand eram mica fugeam ca diavolul de tamaie de ii si de costumele populare. Cand mergeam la tara de sarbatori, bunica imi mai propunea sa port ie la biserica, dar nici nu voiam sa aud de asa ceva, mi se parea ca as fi de rasul satului. De cativa ani am inceput, insa, sa indragesc extrem de tare iile si bluzele cu motive etnice si in ultima vreme, dupa cum ati putut vedea si pe blog<\/a>, port destul de des astfel de piese.<\/p>\n
