2009, July 20<\/strong>– we published our first post on this blog.\u00a0 It seems like an eternity has passed since then. Meanwhile we have written nearly 1,000 posts, we’ve taken thousands of pictures (maybe tens of thousands), we’ve met dozens of people or hundreds if we count on those we only know online, we worked with hundreds of brands and\u00a0 hundreds of thousands of people read what we wrote in all those years.<\/p>\n

Beyond figures and above all we met a lot of beautiful people and some of them became our friends. Our dearest Julie from Pink Wish<\/a> it’s our BFF and helped us a lot with the blog. We thank her for everything, including the photos from today’s post.<\/p>\n

We’ve learned a lot of things in these past seven years. We know it might sound clich\u00e9 but the blog has changed our lives.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> we discovered our passion for photography;<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> we became more creative and also more social even if we are introverted persons;<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> blogging your outfits on a regular basis is a fantastic way to develop your style;<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> we no longer stress so much over the little things and focus on the essential!<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> we understood that you can’t please everyone, no matter how hard you try;<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> It can be hard to stay true to yourself as a blogger, but you don’t need to give up your authentic voice to gain readers; w<\/span>hile we understand some „marketing” strategies and we saw how you can have success and become an influencer, we never „act” in front of the camera. But thank God, many of you like us for what we are and you subscribe to our social channels to read our sincere thoughts. Thank you very much for every like, comment and click, it means very, very much to us.<\/p>\n

7. Phases die; authentic interests live forever<\/strong><\/p>\n

And what’s the most important and make ten times as much as the other things I listed above: blog brought us closer. No matter how much we bicker (you have no idea what heated discussions we have sometimes before filming some videos \ud83d\ude42 ), the connection between us has become even stronger because of this shared passion. And it’s not just about lipsticks and clothes, it’s about time spent together, brainstorming we do to come up with new ideas, the piece of advice we give to each other and the coolest projects and dreams we share just between us\u00a0 because we don’t have the courage to tell them aloud to someone else.
\nLately, more and more bloggers work with photographers, assistants, social media specialists or communication agencies to promote their blog. We’re just us, a small team that does everything, but together we are a whole, an indestructible whole. This bond made us to resist until now and we will continue for many more years to come. We have big plans, so stay tuned.<\/p>\n

Dar dincolo de cifre, mai presus de toate e faptul ca am cunoscut o multime de oameni frumosi, iar unii ne-au devenit prieteni. Cea mai draga dintre toti ne e Julie de la Pink Wish<\/a> care ne-a devenit BFF si ne-a ajutat enorm sa dezvoltam blogul. Ii multumim pe aceasta cale pentru tot, inclusiv pentru pozele din postarea de azi.<\/p>\n

Am invatat o multime de lucruri in acesti sapte ani. Poate veti spune ca am fi invatat si fara sa avem blogul. Ei da, e adevarat, dar cu siguranta nu am fi fost la fel daca nu am fi avut blogul. Stim ca suna cliseic, dar blogul ne-a schimbat viata.<\/p>\n

Prin intermediul lui ne-am descoperit pasiunea pentru fotografie (pe care speram sa o dezvoltam mai mult in viitorul apropiat), am devenit mai creative, mai sociabile cu toate ca suntem niste persoane introvertite, am invatat sa nu ne mai pese atat de tare de tot felul de lucruri marunte si sa ne concentram pe esential. Am inteles ca nu poti fi pe placul tuturor oricat ai incerca si asa cum tie nu iti plac toti, nici tu la randul tu nu poti fi simpatizata de toti, indiferent cum te-ai comporta. Am realizat ca uneori e ok sa fi indiferenta si nu trebuie sa te implici tot timpul. Am invatat ca e ok sa ramai sincer cu tine si cu cei care te citesc- snobii au mai multe de castigat pe termen scurt, insa pe termen lung, sinceritatea ajuta mult.<\/p>\n

In timp am inteles si unele strategii de „marketing” si am vazut cum poti sa ai succes la public, insa am decis sa ramanem noi intotdeauna, indiferent de numarul de cititori. Dar slava Domnului, multi dintre voi ne placeti pentru ceea ce suntem si va abonati la canalele noastre de socializare. Va multumim din suflet pentru fiecare like, comentariu si click pe care il dati si pentru ca ne sustineti, inseamna extrem de mult pentru noi.<\/p>\n

Si ce e cel mai si cel mai important si face de zece ori cat tot ce am enumerat mai sus: blogul ne-a apropiat si mai tare pe noi doua. Indiferent cat ne-am ciondani (nu aveti idee ce discutii aprinse se pot isca inainte de unele videoclipuri pana ajungem la un acord \ud83d\ude00 ), legatura unica dintre noi a devenit si mai puternica datorita acestei pasiuni comune. Si nu e vorba doar despre gusturi comune la rujuri si haine, e vorba de timpul petrecut impreuna, de brain storming-urile pe care le facem pentru a veni cu idei noi, de sfaturile cu care ne ajutam una pe alta si cel mai tare de proiectele si visele pe care le impartasim doar intre noi pentru ca nu avem curaj sa le spunem cu voce tare altcuiva.<\/p>\n

In ultima vreme din ce in ce mai multi bloggeri opteaza pentru fotografi, asistente, specialisti social media sau chiar agentii de comunicare pentru a-si promova blogul. Noi suntem doar noi, o echipa mica care face totul, dar impreuna formam un intreg, un intreg indestructibil. Acest lucru ne-a si facut sa rezistam pana acum si vom mai rezista mult timp de acum inainte.<\/p>\n

Acum ca avem cei „sapte ani de acasa” de blogging, lucrurile vor merge doar in directia buna, nu? Noi asa speram si avem planuri mari. O sa vedeti in curand ce va pregatim.<\/p>\n

20 iulie 2009<\/strong>– data in care am publicat primele randuri<\/a> pe blog. Parca a trecut o vesnicie de atunci. Intre timp am scris aproape 1000 de postari, am facut mii de poze (sau poate zeci de mii), am cunoscut zeci de persoane sau sute daca le punem la socoteala si pe cele pe care le stim doar online, am colaborat cu sute de branduri si am ajuns prin intermediul acestor randuri la sute de mii de persoane.<\/p>\n
