We were impressed by traditional Japanese style of cooking- <b>Teppanyaki<\/b>&#8211; they cook<br \/>\n the food on a hot plate in front of the clients in a spectacular way.<br \/>\nWe tasted both cold and hot traditional dishes, such as maki, nigiri, sashimi, salmon,<br \/>\nroasted tofu and seaweed salad and we drink Choya, a traditional drink.<br \/>\nAnother special moment was the <b>Japanese Tea<br \/>\n Ceremony<\/b>, which is like a performance, not something that you see everyday. Everything<br \/>\n is done with so much calm, performed in a very specific way, you may thought that it&#8217;s a procedure or technique, even the folding of the napkin. Tea looks totally different from what we know, is very thick and<br \/>\n it&#8217;s usually served with a&nbsp; tiny cake ( it has the size of a toffee). Now we know why Japanese women are so skinny \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nNow enjoy the photos from the event \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n&nbsp;\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 <\/div>\n<p>\nSaptamana trecuta am participat la inaugurarea restaurantului    Zen Sushi Dorobanti si am luat contact pentru prima oara cu bucataria japoneza.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.anotherside-of-me.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/sushisisalatadealge.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/www.anotherside-of-me.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/sushisisalatadealge.jpg\" height=\"460\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nConceptul Zen Sushi s-a n\u0103scut din pasiunea a doi prieteni pentru bucataria japoneza, chef Andrei si chef Iulian, care si-au dezvoltat abilitatile sub atenta supraveghere a maestrului bucatar Okuda Yutaka, in primul restaurant japonez deschis in Bucuresti la inceputul anilor 2000. Cei doi au castigat numeroase premii si au gatit pentru Printul Japoniei, Ambasadorul Japoniei si alti membri importanti ai comunitatii japoneze.<\/p>\n<p>Noul restaurant de pe strada George Calinescu e foarte modern, are o arhitectura deosebita si e impartit pe doua nivele: fumatori si nefumatori, iar culorile si&nbsp; designul restaurantului te duc cu gandul la Japonia.<\/p>\n<p>La inaugurarea Zen Sushi Dorobanti am asistat si la o demonstratie de <b>Teppanyaki-<\/b> un stil traditional japonez spectaculos de a gati mancarea pe plita incinsa, sub ochii consumatorului. Totul e facut cu atat de mult calm si migala si cred ca daca ar trebui sa urmam o astfel de rutina de fiecare data cand vrem un ceai, am renunta la aceasta bautura pentru totdeauna. Pana si pentru impaturirea servetelului cu care stergeai cana de ceai era un anumit mod de impachetare si procesul dura cateva zeci de secunde. Ceaiul arata total diferit fata de ce stim noi, era un fel de supa crema si se serveste de obicei alaturi de o prajitura (care avea marimea unei caramele).
