\nWe didn’t managed to do a Back to School post, but our friend Julie from Pink Wish <\/a><\/b>thought it would be nice to do a special one now, that Uni starts. Cristina could not take part in this project because she had problems with a wisdom tooth, but me, Julie and Rux from Gold and Silver Sparkles<\/a><\/b>, we had a great time, playing again the student role. I thought a lot about what outfit I should choose, but in the end I opted for a simple, casual one that represent me very well. I thought that if I could go back to the University, in the first day I would wear pink because not only is my favorite color ever, but denotes optimism, energy and joy and most likely my fellows would remember me like the girl in pink after the first day. I would not mind at all \ud83d\ude1b  To balance this bright color I chose neutral colors and a pair of espadrilles because we all know that we should feel comfortable cause we had a lot to walk from one class to other. I took with me a large bag that I could wear both on shoulder and in my  hand. To accessorize my outfit I chose just a simple, but stylish charms bracelet from Soufeel<\/b><\/a>, that I love so much.<\/div>\n
\nAlthough the subject of this post is the outfit that I would wear in the first day of college, I want to say that more important than this is to think about the purpose for which you go in this Institute. The goal is not to flaunt the most beautiful and fancy outfits, school is not our runway, but to go there to learn something, to broaden our horizons and to try to change the world. Maybe not the whole universe, but at least our universe. I chose that one of the books I took with me for this post to be one written by other girl who loves pink, Malala Yousafzai. Perhaps you all know Malala as the girl shot in the face by the Talibans. So do I, until I discovered this wonderful book and I find out how much she struggled for the right to an education of the girls from Pakistan, and later, from all over the globe. She’s now an advocate for the power of education and an amazing speaker, even though she’s so young! This book opened my eyes and made me see that while we are wondering what we wear to school and what gadget to buy, there are girls in this world who struggle daily to go to school, to learn and not remain in the darkness of ignorance. It’s so hard to imagine this thing, especially as many of us believe Romania is a backward country and still a communist one, but after reading this  book I realized how lucky we are and how privileged. And the book is not just a story, but the harsh reality that millions of young women are facing.<\/div>\n

\nTo those who begin college this week-  I wish you luck and make these years count: have fun but also learn and try to be as prepared as you can in the field that you have chosen and broaden your horizons. <\/div>\n

\nNu am reusit sa facem o postare Back to School la inceputul lui septembrie, insa Julie de la Pink Wish<\/b><\/a> s-a gandit ca ar fi dragut sa facem una acum, la inceperea Universitatii. Cristina nu a putut lua parte la acest proiect deoarece a avut probleme cu o masea de minte, insa eu si cu Julie si cu Rux de Gold and Silver Sparkles<\/b><\/a>, careia ii multumim mult pentru poze ne-am distrat super bine, intrand din nou in rolul de studente. M-am gandit mult ce tinuta sa aleg, insa in cele din urma am optat pentru ceva simplu, casual, dar care sa ma reprezinte.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nM-am gandit ca daca m-as intoarce la Universitate, in prima zi as purta roz, pentru ca aceasta culoare nu doar ca e preferata mea absoluta, dar denota optimism, energie si veselie si cel mai probabil colegii te-ar tine minte dupa prima zi: tipa in roz \ud83d\ude1b Nu m-ar deranja deloc acest lucru. Pentru a contrabalansa aceasta culoare puternica am ales in rest culori neutre si o pereche de espadrile pentru ca stim cu totii ca trebuie sa ne simtim cat mai comod, mai ales ca uneori avem foarte mult de mers de acasa si pana la facultate.<\/div>\n

\nAm luat cu mine o geanta mare, in care sa imi aiba loc tot ce mi-ar fi necesar intr-o zi atat de agitata si pe care sa o pot purta atat pe umar, cat si in mana. E vorba de geanta Gladys<\/b><\/a> de la Adona<\/b> pe care o gasiti saptamana aceasta la un pret special de 99 de lei. Eu o port zilnic la serviciu de vreo doua saptamani si e perfecta: e compartimentata foarte bine si poti lua cu tine absolut tot ce ai nevoie: umbrela, carte, apa, mancare, machiaj, telefon, tableta si tot ce va mai trece prin minte \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nDesi subiectul postarii e tinuta pe care as purta-o in prima zi de facultate, vreau sa va spun ca mai important decat acest lucru e sa ne gandim la scopul pentru care mergem in aceasta insitutie. Scopul nu e sa ne etalam cele mai frumoase si fancy tinute, school is not our runway (pentru asta exista blogurile de fashion :P), ci sa mergem pentru a invata ceva, pentru a ne deschide orizonturile si pentru a incerca sa schimbam lumea. Nu intregul univers, ci macar universul nostru. Am ales intentionat ca una din cartile pe care le-am luat cu mine in geanta pentru aceasta postare sa fie cea a unei alte fete careia ii place rozul, Malala Yousafzai. Probabil cu totii o stiti drept fata impuscata in fata de talibani. Asa o stiam si eu, asta pana sa descopar aceasta minunata carte a ei si pana sa aflu cat de mult s-a luptat pentru dreptul la educatie al fetelor din Pakistan, iar mai apoi, al fetelor din toata lumea. Aceasta carte mi-a deschis ochii si m-a facut sa vad ca in vreme ce noi ne framantam cu ce sa ne mai imbracam la scoala si ce gadget sa ne mai cumparam, exista fete in lumea asta care lupta zilnic sa mearga la scoala pentru a invata si a nu ramane in bezna nestiintei. E atat de greu sa ne imaginam lucrul asta, mai ales ca multi dintre noi consideram Romania o tara inapoiata si comunista inca, insa dupa ce citesti o astfel de carte iti dai seama cat de norocosi suntem si cat de privilegiati. Si cartea nu e doar o poveste, ci realitatea cruda cu care se confrunta milioane de tinere din lumea asta.<\/div>\n

\nVa urez mult succes celor care incepeti saptamana aceasta facultatea si nu uitati sa faceti ca acesti ani sa conteze- sa va distrati, dar sa si invatati si sa va pregatiti cat mai bine in domeniul pe care vi l-ati ales si sa incercati sa va largiti permanent orizontul cunoasterii.<\/div>\n
