After we stayed at a hostel<\/a> for the first time a few months ago, we discovered that we really like this type of accommodation and for our recent holiday in Berlin we chose Sunflower Hostel.
\nThis time we went with our blogger friends Simona and Ramona from Traveling Sisters<\/a>. We stayed for five days in Berlin and we traveled only with cabin luggage- 2 gorgeous trolley suitcases with Romanian motifs from the Oxygen Life’s Spirit Ethno Collection<\/a>, which were perfect for our needs.<\/p>\n

Returning to the hostel where we stayed- Sunflower Hostel-<\/strong> is one of the most popular hostels in Berlin and what we liked most about it was the location- just a few minutes from the subway, train or tram or East Side Gallery and we also had a lot of cool places to visit in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The hostel is a hipster-ish one, with modern design and simple and practical furniture, it captures the spirit of Berlin perfectly: an amalgam of colorful and cool stuff \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The reception staff was very friendly and nice, and the biggest surprise we had- when we first came into the room, we found a cake with two candles + a birthday message for Cristina and Ramona. Yes, they share the same birthday- October, 20 – how cool is that?<\/p>\n

We chose a 4 bed room and we felt like in the American movies-we had bunk beds and lockers in the room. In high school we wanted so badly lockers like the American teens had, where they kept their books, notebooks, and their secrets, as well :)) Unfortunately, we didn’t organized any pajama party or anything similar because we were very tired. We wake up early in the morning, we went to breakfast and then we return late at night, completely exhausted.<\/p>\n

Speaking of breakfast, they had a pretty varied buffet and what we liked most that they had vegan options- fruits and even soy milk for cereals and it cost only 3 euros.
\nThe hostel also had a kitchen and they offers dishware and everything you needed to cook. We loved that they also had computers for those staying at the hostel, and washing machines in case you stay there for a longer period and you don’t have any clean outfits.
\nThey also had fussball and board games, but we didn’t get to try them because as we said, we visited the city all day and we’ll tell you in a future post what we saw \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Dupa ce la Londra am stat pentru prima oara intr-un hostel<\/a>, si in vacanta recenta de la Berlin am ales tot o astfel de cazare, si anume Sunflower Hostel.<\/p>\n

De data asta am mers impreuna cu prietenele noastre Ramona si Simona, si ele tot bloggerite, dar de travel la Surorile Calatoare<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pentru ca am stat cinci zile, am ales doar bagaje de cabina si daca ne cititi blogul de ceva vreme, stiti ca ne place sa calatorim cat mai „light”. Lumea chiar ramane surprinsa cand vede cat de putine lucruri ne luam in vacanta (atat haine, cat si cosmetice) pentru ca stiu ca suntem bloggerite si cred ca venim cu un intreg arsenal dupa noi. Dar asta nu se intampla pentru ca nu ne place sa caram lucruri inutile si in vacante alegem look-uri cat mai casual si comode. Pentru Berlin am ales valizele Pigna din colectia Ethno de la Oxigen Life’s Spirit<\/strong><\/a>, care au fost perfecte pentru nevoile noastre. Arata senzational cu acele motive populare romanesti si cu inscrisul „Traditional<\/a>” si chiar ne mandrim sa avem un bagaj cu „insemne romanesti”, care ne reprezinta atunci cand calatorim prin lume. In afara de faptul ca arata asa frumos, trollerele sunt si foarte practice, au patru roti, merg si in lateral, sunt compartimentate perfect, au cifru si sunt si destul de rezistente. Daca va plac, puteti arunca o privire pe site, le gasiti la reducere acum, la un pret foarte bun, iar daca vi se par mici pentru nevoile voastre, gasiti si versiunea mare, de cala pe site.<\/p>\n

Revenind la hostelul in care am stat, Sunflower Hostel<\/strong>– e unul dintre cele mai populare hosteluri din Berlin si ce ne-a incantat cel mai tare e pozitionarea lui foarte buna, eram doar la cateva minute de statiile de metrou, tren sau tramvai sau de East Side Gallery si aveam o multime de obiective la care puteam ajunge pe jos.<\/p>\n

Hostelul e unul hipsteresc, amenajat modern, simplu si practic, ni se pare ca surprinde exact spiritul Berlinului-un amalgam de lucruri colorate si cool \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Personalul de la receptie ni s-a parut foarte amabil si dragut, iar cea mai mare surpriza am avut-o cand am ajuns prima oara in camera si am gasit un tort cu doua lumanarele+mesaj pentru aniversarea Cristinei si a Ramonei. Da, sunt nascute in aceeasi zi-20 octombrie- how cool is that?<\/p>\n

Noi am ales o camera de patru persoane si ne-am simtit ca in filmele americane, mai ales ca am avut si paturi suprapuse si vestiare in camera. Daca ati sti ce ne doream si noi in perioada liceului vestiare dintr-astea cum aveau adolescentii americani si isi tineau acolo cartile si caietele, dar si secretele :))<\/p>\n

Din pacate, seara nu am organizat pijama party sau ceva similar pentru ca eram atat de obosite incat nu mai apucam sa facem absolut nimic. Ne trezeam dimineata devreme, mergeam la micul dejun si ne mai intorceam seara tarziu, frante de oboseala.<\/p>\n

Apropo de micul dejun, aveau un mic dejun destul de variat, de tip bufet si cel mai mult ne-a placut ca au avut si optiuni vegane- fructe si chiar si lapte de soia pentru cereale, iar pretul era de doar 3 euro.<\/p>\n

Pentru a te simti ca acasa, aveau si bucatarie si iti puneau la dispozitie si vase si tot ce aveai nevoie pentru a gati. Ne-a placut ca aveau si calculatoare disponibile pentru cei cazati la hostel, dar si masini de spalat in caz ca stateai pe o perioada mai lunga la hostel.<\/p>\n

De asemenea, aveau si fussball si jocuri de societate, dar nu am apucat sa le incercam pentru ca asa cum v-am spus, noi umblam toata ziua si o sa va spunem intr-o postare viitoare si ce am vizitat \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Daca planuiti sa mergeti in Berlin, puteti arunca o privire pe site-ul Sunflower Hostel<\/a> pentru a vedea toate facilitatile pe care le ofera, dar si lista de preturi.<\/p>\n
