The pair very much embody opposing ideals of American femininity: Gigi has long luscious locks of blonde hair and bronzed skin, emanating the Californian cool of her home state; Bella on the other hand offers a look that is moodier and darker, with plenty of sultry edge. The sisters were an almost instant success thanks to their initial collection, which earned them a meeting with Anna Wintour. They are renowned for incorporating artwork into their fashion collections, offering pieces that are experimental, distinctive yet still covetable and feminine.
