Happy international women\u2019s day to all of the amazing and powerful women that surround us! Mothers, grandmothers, sisters, friends – what would we do without them? International Women\u2019s Day is all about celebrating these incredible people in your life and showing them how much you love and value them.<\/p>\n

Although in Romania, most often, March 8 is about gifts and flowers, in many countries in the world, this day is meant to raise awareness of the challenges and struggles faced by women and to celebrate their achievements.<\/p>\n

Not all of us can fight for equality in the same way, we are not all Malala Yousafzai (by the way, you must read read her book) to risk our lives for educating young women, but there are many ways to help other women. Of course, not all achievements are huge but sometimes a simple word of encouragement, a compliment or listening to someone is enough to lift their spirits. Because for the world you are just a person, but for some people you are the most valuable person in the world. Yes, it’s a clich\u00e9, but often some words can make a huge difference in someone’s life.<\/p>\n

This year we decided to realize again our March 8 editorial with our friend Julie from Pink Wish<\/a>. It’s already the fourth year we do this together and this time we chose a different concept – traditional meets modern<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As location we chose Hadar Chalet<\/a>– a luxury cottage situated between Brasov and Buzau, surrounded by mountains. Two smart and beautiful sisters, Oana and Adriana Toma turned the former hunting lodge of Nicolae Ceausescu in a dreamy location, a small corner of paradise where we had a great time this weekend. You have already seen a lot of photos on our Instagram account, but you shouldn’t miss our next post- we will tell you a lot of things that you can’t see in the photos.<\/p>\n

Our outfits are from IE Clothing and are handmade by two pretty and talented girls (#girlpower again) – Emilia Tudoran and Iulia Ghenea. IE Clothing pieces matched perfectly with the location which combines traditional and modern elements. IE Clothing concept is based on folk, return to origins and valuing the traditional elements but has a modern twist and the designers aim is to create unique clothing pieces to persist over time.<\/p>\n

La multi ani fericiti tuturor femeilor! Mame, bunici, surori, prietene – ce ne-am face fara ele? Le datoram enorm tuturor, viata noastra nu ar fi existat fara ele si trebuie sa le fim recunoscatoare zi de zi pentru tot ce fac pentru noi, insa cu atat mai mult de 8 Martie cand ar trebui sa le aratam cat de tare tinem la ele si cat de mult le pretuim.<\/p>\n

Desi in Romania, de cele mai multe ori, 8 Martie e despre cadouri si flori, in multe tari din lume, aceasta zi e menita sa ii faca pe cetateni sa constientizeze provocarile cu care se confrunta femeile, dar si sa celebreze ce au reusit sa obtina pana acum si sa isi propuna noi obiective in ceea ce priveste egalitatea de sanse.<\/p>\n

Nu toate putem lupta pentru egalitate in acelasi mod, nu toate o sa ajungem ca Malala Yousafzai (va recomandam neaparat sa cititi cartea ei) sa sustinem discursuri la ONU sau sa ne riscam viata pentru educarea tinerelor femei, insa fiecare dintre noi putem face gesturi mici. Exista numeroase site-uri unde puteti vedea cum sa va implicati pentru a sprijini anumite cauze, insa uneori si un simplu cuvant de incurajare, un compliment sau ascultarea atenta a cuiva valoreaza enorm. Pentru ca pentru lume sunteti doar o persoana, insa pentru unele persoane valorati intreaga lume. Da, e un cliseu, insa de multe ori niste vorbe pot face o diferenta enorma in viata cuiva.<\/p>\n

Si anul acesta am hotarat sa realizam un editorial de 8 Martie impreuna cu prietena noastra Julie de la Pink Wish<\/a>. E deja al patrulea an de cand ne-am decis sa facem aceasta colaborare de 8 Martie, iar in 2017 am ales un concept diferit- traditionalul intalneste modernul<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Locatia aleasa a fost Hadar Chalet<\/a>– <\/strong>o cabana de lux desprinsa parca din filme, situata intre Brasov si Buzau, inconjurata de munti. Doua surori inteligente si frumoase, Oana si Adriana Toma au transformat fosta cabana de vanatoare a lui Ceausescu intr-o locatie de vis, un mic colt de rai unde am avut parte de o experienta deosebita despre care o sa va povestim mai multe intr-o postare viitoare. Cred ca ati vazut deja o multime de fotografii pe conturile noastre de Instagram, dar nu trebuie sa ratati postarea pentru ca o sa va povestim o multime de lucruri pe care nu le puteti afla din fotografii.<\/p>\n

Tinutele pe care le-am purtat sunt de la IE Clothing<\/a> si sunt realizate de doua fete dragute si talentate (#girlpower again)- Emilia Tudoran si Iulia Ghenea. Nu le-am ales intamplator, piesele IE Clothing s-au potrivit perfect cu locatia pentru ca imbina traditionalul cu modernul, la fel ca si Hadar Chalet. Conceptul Ie Clothing are la baza portul popular, reintoarcerea la origini si punerea in valoare a elementelor traditionale, dar cu o reinterpretare moderna, realizand piese vestimentare unice care sa dainuie in timp. Cu siguranta o sa mai auziti de IE Clothing pe viitor pentru ca aceste creatii deja au inceput sa fie purtate de vedete precum Andra sau Elena Gheorghe.<\/p>\n
