Maybe you’ve noticed that lately I took a break from the blog and from social networks. Not to relax, I worked tirelessly on a new project, something I wanted for so long, but I never found time nor courage. I finally decided to follow my passion for photography and create Chasing the Light<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I gathered all my favorite photos in an online portfolio and I finally made it public. I had created a Facebook page more than a year ago, but I never updated since then. Before I did this step I kept thinking what others will say and I had mixed feelings about it. Then I realized that it doesn’t matter at all what those who judge me think, they not live my life and I must follow my passion.<\/p>\n

I don’t consider myself a professional photographer yet, I have a lot to learn and experience, but I’m very passionate and enthusiastic and I know that this matters very much.<\/p>\n

I spent a lot of time thinking about what name to choose for the site and the idea came when I was editing the pictures below, when I saw that special light. That’s what I want to do with all my clients: to capture their beautiful souls, to bring out the light just as a camera bring out the best pictures when the light it’s good.<\/p>\n

I’m always chasing the light literally and figuratively: I love how sunlight enhance the face features, the same as a sincere smile does. I know it sounds cheesy, but I always like to interact with people when I take photos, to make them feel good, to be happy and to act natural. My biggest goal is not capturing photos but emotions and memories that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n

***\u00a0 Floral trend returned in force this year and I am overjoyed to find floral printed or embroidered items in winter time. And don’t think that’s something seasonal. I just saw the Gucci show<\/a> at Milan Fashion Week and an explosion of floral prints and bright colors can be found in the fall collection of this brand.<\/p>\n

Also, the jeans we wore when we were kids, as I like to call them, are back. I mean straight jeans<\/a>, thick denim with colorful applications. They are a combination between mom jeans and kids jeans. I must admit that I’m not a big fan, I prefer skinny jeans, but sometimes it’s good to try different things.<\/p>\n

Probabil ati observat ca in ultimele zile am luat o pauza de la blog, cat si de la retelele de socializare. Nu a fost pentru a ma relaxa, ci dimpotriva am muncit neincetat la un nou proiect, ceva ce imi doream sa fac de o gramada de vreme, dar nu imi gaseam timp si nici curaj. Am decis in sfarsit sa imi urmez si cealalta pasiune a mea, fotografia, si sa creez Chasing the Light<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Am adunat toate fotografiile mele preferate din ultima vreme intr-un portofoliu online si l-am facut in sfarsit public. Pagina de Facebook o creasem in urma cu mai bine de un an, insa nu i-am mai acordat atentie de atunci. Inainte de a face pasul asta m-am tot gandit ce o sa zica unii si altii si aveam mixed feelings about it \ud83d\ude00 Apoi mi-am dat seama ca abordarea mea era gresita, ca nu conteaza deloc ce gandesc cei care ma judeca, nu traiesc ei in locul meu si trebuie sa imi urmez aceasta pasiune.<\/p>\n

Nu ma consider inca un fotograf profesionist, mai am multe de invatat si de experimentat, insa sunt foarte pasionata si entuziasta si stiu ca asta conteaza extrem de mult in orice domeniu.<\/p>\n

Am stat mult sa ma gandesc ce nume sa aleg pentru site si ideea mi-a venit cand editam pozele de mai jos si am vazut acea lumina speciala. Asta imi doresc eu sa fac cu toti cei pe care fotografiez: sa reusesc sa surprind tot ce au mai frumos pe interior, sa scot la iveala lumina din ei, la fel cum camera scoate cele mai bune poze atunci cand avem parte de lumina. Mereu sunt in cautarea luminii si la propriu si la figurat: ador cand razele soarelui lumineaza trasaturile, la fel cum o face si un zambet sincer.<\/p>\n

Stiu ca suna cheesy, dar intotdeauna imi place sa interactionez cu persoanele pe care le fotografiez, sa le fac sa se simta bine, sa fie vesele si sa iasa cat mai natural pentru ca nu vreau sa se simta stanjenite. My biggest goal is not capturing photos but emotions and memories that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n

De acum incolo ma gasiti si pe pagina de Facebook Chasing The Light<\/a> si pe Instagram<\/a>\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

***Anul acesta a revenit in forta trendul floral si ma bucur nespus ca gasesc si iarna piese inflorate si cu aplicatii brodate. Si sa nu credeti ca e ceva sezonier. Tocmai am vazut prezentarea Gucci<\/a> de la Milan Fashion Week si imprimeurile florale si explozia de culori vesele se regasesc si in colectia de toamna a acestui brand, dar si a multor altora.
\nDe asemenea, au revenit in tendinte blugii care se purtau cand eram noi copii, cum imi place sa ii numesc. Ma refer la blugii drepti<\/a>, din denim gros si cu diverse aplicatii. Mi se par o combinatie intre mom jeans si jeansii de copii \ud83d\ude42 Recunosc nu sunt mare fana, prefer jeansii skinny oricand, insa uneori e bine sa incercam si lucruri diferite. I-am ales pe acestia din poze datorita modelului cu aplicatii florale, insa croiala lor nu prea imi place \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Daca vi se pare ceva schimbat la mine in pozele de mai jos e datorita machiajului profesionist facut de prietena mea, Julie<\/a>, care chiar si cu cel mai banal fard te face sa arati instant mai bine. Asa ca daca aveti nevoie de cineva sa va machieze, stiti la cine sa apelati cu incredere \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
